MOTHERS IN MUSIC gave mothers who had taken a step back from making music an opportunity to perform again, regain their confidence and build a community of musicians that can support, socialise, work and collaborate with each other. The initiative is supported by the Spirit of 2012 Carers' Music Fund which is made possible by the Tampon Tax Fund awarded through the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport.

The programme was the first of it’s kind in Ireland and 17 mothers participated.
