When our only dedicated women’s hostel is threatened with closure, six determined workers rise together to fight against a failing system and an uncaring establishment. For 12 weeks they live, work, and breathe resistance.

Not On Our Watch!
In January 2022, 6 workers at Regina Coeli House staged a 12-week ‘work-in’ effectively occupying the building with support from their community, Unite The Union and wider grassroots activism.
Not On Our Watch tells the story of 6 women and their stand for service provision, for workers rights, for women’s rights and to lend their voices to the most vulnerable in our society. Their story illustrates to us all what ordinary people making extraordinary efforts can achieve.
From the Client
Laura was a dream to work with on creating the imagery for our theatre production, Not On Our Watch!
Laura was able to translate a long list of historical reference points and influences, from trade union posters to banners from the women's movement, into a design brief, working to simplify these elements into an effective core image. She created a central logo and other marketing materials for Not On Our Watch, working to a particularly tight timeframe. She understood our need in theatre to edit and rework the core logo on the revival of the production and has been continuously helpful in assisting with any tweaks needed for new print material.
She is a real asset for anyone in the arts sector, reflexive and responsive to our tight budgets and chaotic timeframes!”
